- FlyORO and Menzies Aviation have set a new cooperation aiming to enhance the distribution of SAF in Europe. FlyORO has selected Menzies Aviation as the partner to explore the deployment of AlphaLite™, the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) blending and distribution solution. Menzies is keen to support the initiative with its long-term experience in the aviation fuels industry.
- The collaboration is aimed at improving fuel diversification and supply chain resilience for SAF, particularly domestically produced and novel SAFs, to reach end-users at scale. It will assess the integration of FlyORO’s proven technology across aviation fuel infrastructure and strategic supply chain locations to broaden SAF availability for airlines, airports, and fuel suppliers.
LONDON – 30th June 2026 – FlyORO Technologies Pte. Ltd. (“FlyORO”), a Singapore-based SAF blending technology company, and Menzies Aviation, the leading service partner to the world’s airports and airlines, today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) to explore solutions aiming to enhance SAF distribution through Menzies’ expertise in aviation fuels management.
Under the MoU, FlyORO will assess deployment opportunities for FlyORO’s AlphaLite blending platform adjacent to airport fuel infrastructure with the support of Menzies’ technical experience and background in fuel farm management and into-plane fuelling. The collaboration is designed to deploy and enable blending capacity in compliance with the highest aviation fuel standard, with the goal to make SAF available where and when it is needed, through FlyORO flexible and capital-light technology.
The partnership arrives at a critical moment for the aviation industry. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has identified infrastructure readiness as a central enabler of SAF scale-up, with its Energy and New Fuels Infrastructure Net Zero Roadmap highlighting the need for expanded SAF blending and distribution capacity. Today, most airports lack supply chain infrastructure options to blend, store and deliver SAF, particularly novel pathways such as eSAF – creating an access-flexibility gap between where SAF is produced and where it can actually be used – this is relevant as mandates such as ReFuelEU Aviation and the UK SAF Mandate are accelerating industry demand.
