Joe leads FlyORO technical and operations, with a demonstrated track-record in leading high profile global supply chain, engineering, plant construction, expansion and production, and industrial automation projects across oil majors and specialty chemical companies.

Damian McLoughlin is a seasoned aviation energy executive with more than 20 years of global experience across Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), aviation fuel supply chains, and commercial energy strategy.

He currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer at FlyORO Technologies, where he leads global commercial growth, strategic partnerships, and customer engagement for the company’s modular, on-demand SAF blending systems designed to accelerate scalable SAF deployment.

Previously, Damian held senior leadership roles at Qantas Airways, including Vice President SAF – The Americas and Interim Global Head of SAF, where he led global SAF sourcing, commercial structuring, and climate investment initiatives while working directly with executive leadership to build long-term decarbonisation strategies.

Earlier, he served as Global Head of Sustainability & Senior Director Commercial at the oneworld Alliance and held key commercial roles at Neste, where he helped scale the company’s early SAF market, including negotiating its first commercial SAF sale.

His career foundation includes senior positions with BP and other aviation fuel industry related companies, where he developed deep expertise in aviation fuel logistics, supply markets, and airline commercial strategy.

Damian is widely recognised for connecting commercial innovation with practical deployment, building partnerships across airlines, fuel producers, technology developers, and policymakers to advance aviation’s transition towards sustainable energy.
