FlyORO Celebrates One Year of SAF Blending Innovation with ISCC CORSIA Certification

May 2024 marks the one-year anniversary of FlyORO’s first modular Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) blending system that was launched in Singapore. Since the launch, the engineering team has been working closely with regulators to improve the industry standards and protocols, including aligning with the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) guidelines.

FlyORO, a Strategic Partner with International Air Transport Association (IATA) since 2022, is proud to be the first modular SAF blending operator to be awarded the ISCC certification. This recognition boosts FlyORO’s flexible blending proposition, ensuring strict adherence to blending practices and sustainability standards. The industry recognition also extends to the storage networks that FlyORO partners with across all blending hubs.

ISCC is a globally recognized standard and leading certification system focused on promoting sustainable practices across the supply chain, emphasizing environmental responsibility, social accountability, and traceability. The ISCC certification ensures compliance with the highest sustainability and social responsibility criteria.

In collaboration with the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA) initiative, FlyORO is committed to working with eligible fuels that generate lower carbon emissions on a life cycle basis, from approved feedstocks. This commitment enhances transparency and traceability through FlyORO’s blending technology, providing an end-to-end tracker of the entire SAF supply chain.
